Falling in love!
Something came to mind today: The difference between falling in love and falling in love.
My thoughts:
Falling in love with a person is like falling in love with a painting. You see the colors, shapes, and forms but do not know the story. Falling in love with the soul of that person is like understanding a painting. See the intensity of the strokes, the depth of color, and the combination of everything in the picture, coming together to make it one piece of art.
When we do take the time and try to understand the painting, things change. If you like it, you stay with it and appreciate it. But when you look at it and feel that there is no understanding anymore, just pain, let go of it and walk away.
Loving a soul is like listening to the sound of music and vibes. You can tune into it, and feel if it is right or wrong for you. If it makes you feel warm and secure, you float with it and become one with its energy. But if it mesmerizes you to the point where it suffocates you. Grab that break in the melody and change the sound in your life. This means getting out of that connection and being aware that this relationship is not healthy in any shape or form.
Masterpieces of art, may it be music pieces or paintings, are great teachers. They are not just teaching us about the past, present, or future, the painter, his time, and his motive. Art teaches us about our way of thinking, likes and dislikes, behavior in society, and life overall.
The question is, on what level are you to fall in love? Are you on the deeper level, ready for the music and vibe or are you taking the chances with the painting?
